TERMS AND CONDITIONS
 
ALL Pitbikes Sold by WELSH PIT BIKES  are OFF ROAD MOTORBIKES are are NOT TOYS.
All Bikes are to be used under Adult and or qualified Supervision in Areas designated for the
safe and legal use of these off road sporting and competition goods.
We strongly recommend only the participation in recognised PIT BIKE sporting and competitive
events with a correctly prepaired and maintained bike.

Delivery

Our pitbike prices include Free 24hr next day delivery to Mainland UK (not including the highlands) if you need prices to other European countries then please don’t hesitate to contact us.
Next working Day 24hr delivery is our normal level of service.
Delivery times may be extended during exceptionally busy periods, or periods of BAD weather.
However This will be kept to an absolute minimum. During extended delivery times we will do all that is possible to ensure that your delivery arrives to you as soon as possible, but these delays may be beyond our control.
Once a bike has left Welsh Pit Bikes and entered the TNT delivery system, it will be delivered to the customer as soon as TNT is able to do so, (if not within its normal level of service). A specified delivery date is not a condition of sale.

Northern Ireland +£90 for delivery
Ireland +£90 for delivery
Highlands +£90 for delivery (Please ask about our free delivery service to your nearest Highlands TNT depot for collection)
Channel Islands +£90 for delivery
All other European destinations (must contact first ) but usually +£120
All of the bikes we sell are shipped via TNT 24 hour next working day delivery.

All of the parts are sent via Royal Mail 1st/2nd Class, Royal Mail Standard Parcels or DHL delivery where applicable.

If the courier offers a tracking number we usually send an email or TEXT direct to you with the tracking number.

Please allow a suitable time before contacting us about delivery issues , up to 3 days, all items are sent out ASAP but we don’t have control over the couriers.

If a item gets lost in the post we will send out a replacement once courier confirms the item has been lost.

Website content and descriptions

Welsh Pit Bikes do everything possible to ensure that all descriptions and specifications are correct and up to date .
All bikes sold and delivered are the latest models and are to the current specifications, if this deviates in anyway from the descriptions contained within Welshpitbikes, then we appologise. The bikes delivered will be the latest and most up to date and in the majority of cases, if any deviation occurs, it will be  to that of a superior specification to that listed.
Some colour changes may occur in plastics and Graphic design from time to time but these in no way affect the quality of the bike supplied. 


Returns Policy

Our returns policy allows for the return of products to Welsh Pit Bikes under the following conditions.

Returns and refunds are only permitted within 30 days of purchase provided the item is returned to us at the customers expense AND that the product is returned in an UNUSED condition and is suitable for resale by Welsh Pit Bikes.
Pitbikes are expensive items to deliver.....please do not order if you are unsure about suitability. Visit the Welshpitbikes Workshop to see all bikes prior to purchase if in doubt.

Right of cancellation
 
The United Kingdom's Distance Selling Regulations 2000 provide you with a right to cancel your order for products at any time up to the end of the seventh working day following the day after the day on which you received the products.

The Item must not have been assembled or used and must be returned to us as new.

Notice must be received in writing to notify us of your intention to cancel the order, stating your reasons why, date of purchase and contact details.   
If you have already received the products you must carefully repackage and return them to us at the above address. We recommend you use a delivery service that insures the goods when returning items as until you have returned the products to us, you must keep them in your possession and take reasonable care of them.
 
When making a return your original invoice must be included to show your proof of purchase.
Upon return the item will be inspected, if returned as new then a refund or exchange will be made minus any delivery costs incurred by us. We will refund any amounts due within 30 days of return.
 
Nothing in this Returns Policy affects any statutory rights you may have as a consumer.


Owners Riders and Buyers responsibilities

Motorbikes are machines that require mechanical Knowledge and capability from the buyer, rider or owner. A reasonable toolkit will needed to assemble and maintain the bike in good condition.
It is the riders responsibility to ensure that the bike has been assembled to the correct standard and that everything is functioning correctly. If you have any doubt as to your ability to correctly assemble a bike to the correct standard then please employ the services of a qualified mechanic to complete the PDI.
Please return your completed PDI document as soon as your bike is PDI'd
Alternatively please purchase a ready PDI'd bike from Welsh Pit Bikes.
In the event of a faulty component that needs to be replaced under Warranty it is the buyers responsibility to remove and refit the faulty item with a replacement. Again if the buyer is not confident to undertake this kind of work then please do not buy a bike via distant selling internet means. It is not reasonable to ask for a return of a complete bike in the event that the customer is unable to carry out reasonable mechanical tasks.
We do not wish to establish unreasonable conditions upon sales but please bear in mind that these are motorbikes and will require tools, skills and ability to enjoy the sport to the best. 

PDI- Pre Delivery Inspected Term refers to the correct completion and assembly of machine prior to riding.

Warranty Items

All Items covered by warranty and considered defective by the customer MUST be returned to either Welsh Pit Bikes or Stompracing to be inspected and replaced (Please call to discuss). If the item is agreed defective the part will be replaced Free of Charge and Return Postage costs refunded to the customer. If the item is deemed not to be an original manufacturing defect and a result of misuse and/or crash damage or incorrect assembly the item will be returned to the customer at the senders expense, or a replacement provided at retail price and delivery charged. 


WARNING

Riding a Pit Bike is a Sport and as with ALL SPORTS this involves risks. We strongly advise that you read and understand all documentation itemised above and read the user manual supplied before riding your Bike.
Pit Bikes are not sold for children under the age of 14 years as they are NOT classed as TOYS.
Safety is paramount at all times, the correct mantainance of your machine and wearing of a helmet and other protective clothing is essential.
Pit Bikes are NOT intended for road use.
